HM's Conscious Collection SS 13 has hit the stores

After a dissapointing AW 12 without any sustainable styles, H&M has finally launched their Conscious Collection SS 13. A wide range of styles can be found in stores right now; including accessories such as jewellery made of recycled plastic and shoes made of organic cotton. Other sustainable materials include textiles made of tree pulp in a closed circuit environment such as Tencel, as well as recycled polyester. All sustainable styles can be identifyed by a green label, but right now they're also grouped together in the stores, making them easy to find! The overall theme of the Collection is tropical jungle, including glam and army elements, and there are some really nice styles for everyday use, as well as cocktail dresses. Happy sustainable shopping!

Sunglasses with REAL horn rims

Isn't this amazing? In this plastic fantastic time, to see an object created by old-school materials, as here sunglasses with rims from from buffalo horns. I can only imagine how comfortable they must feel - natural materials such as leather and horn feel much more pleasant to wear due to their composition which is so close to the composition of our own bodies. If you have ever worn a pair of leather pants, you will know what I'm talking about.
But at the same time they look totally faboulous - with these sunglasses I'd say to the summer: come get me!! A definite wish-list item on my account. Made by Rigards, found on Farfetch
